1 x 5/8 inch satin finish pewter oval St. Francis medal on a 24 inch stainless steel rhodium plated chain. The pendant features a raised image of Saint Francis on the front, who is shown in profile praying. On the top and bottom of the pendant are the words, "Saint Francis Pray For Us" with two crosses on the left and right sides respectively. The back of the medal is blank with a brushed finish. Includes a Saint Francis card with his information, and is packaged in a poly bag with medal attached.
Saint Francis is the Patron Saint of animals, merchants, and ecology. He was an Italian friar who lived in Italy during the 13th century, living a life of ascetic poverty (the practice of the denial of physical and psychological desires in order to attain a spiritual goal).
